Sometimes you need to slow down to go faster on the long run...

As modern mums always on the go and thriving to be super mums and some days achieving the impossible >  this can lead to putting your body in override.

One of my Mums who was attending her initial AEM consultation raised that issue: she seemed to be doing everything right but she just did not seem to lose the weight !

Sometimes you need to slow down to go faster on the long run if this makes sense ... especially when it comes to eating. You know it already BUT you need to do it ...so here is a reminder :

  • Slowing Down Your Eating Speed Can Help You Lose Weight
  • It requires less food to fill you up if you eat slowly.
  • Experts assert that it can take as long as 20 minute before your stomach tells the part of the brain (the hypothalamus) to initiate the satiety response
  • if in those same 20 minutes you eat slowly, you are consuming less food that will contribute to less weight gain.
  • Numerous studies over the years have confirmed that slowing down your eating speed helps you lose weight.

So mums, don't eat standing up between feeding the children. And don't finish off their plates either LOL you know where that should go >>> not in your stomach !!!!! lol
