What we eat , how much we exercise, how much water we drink > are all contributing factors in the rise of constipation and this applies to our children too !
The amount of fibre in your child’s diet is very important: toddlers age 1-3 years should get 19 grams of fiber each day and children 4-8 years should get 25 grams of fiber a day
ENOUGH FIBRE + WATER + EXERCISE > GOOD POO
))
Fibre is found in plant foods like fruits, vegetables, and grains. Some of the best sources are: whole-grain breads and cereals apples oranges berries prunes pears green peas legumes (dried beans, split peas, lentils, etc.) artichokes almonds yes – stay away from way milk and its derivatives (yogurts…) as they tend to constipate.
The fear / pain of constipation also creates a vicious circle where because it hurts to poo when constipated > they don’t want to poo. Therefore it might be an idea to help relieve from constipation with the help of a laxative to start with and then continue with the natural basic of FIBRE + WATER + EXERCISE > GOOD POO
))
Happy poooooooooooo !
